Exemption from attendance at school

74G. Exemption from attendance at school

The Minister may exempt a child from attendance at school on the ground-

   (a)  of illness of, or severe hardship to, the child's parents; or

   (b)  that the child (being at least 12 years of age) has been recommended
        by a medical practitioner for treatment that would prevent the child
        attending school; or

   (c)  that it is in the interest of the child to be exempted from attendance
        at school.
