Definitions

74A. Definitions

In this Division unless inconsistent with the context or subject-matter-



"head teacher'' means the person for the time being in charge of a school
howsoever he is designated;



"parent'' includes guardian and every person who is liable to maintain or has
the actual custody of a child and any person with whom a child resides or who
is the occupier of a house in which a child resides;



"State school'' means a school conducted under the Education Act 1958.
