44. Informant must comply with request or state grounds of refusal



(1) Within 7 days after the informant receives a request under section 43, the
informant must comply with the request or serve on the accused a written
notice that the informant refuses to comply with the request, identifying the
grounds for refusing disclosure.

(2) The Magistrates' Court may vary a time limit referred to in this section.
