Application and construction of Act

4. Application and construction of Act



(1) This Act applies to weapons other than firearms within the meaning of
section 3(1) of the Firearms Act 1958.

(2) This Act is to be read and construed as in aid of and not in derogation
from any other Act relating to weapons and firearms.

(3) This Act does not apply to or in relation to any weapon vested in,
belonging to or in the possession or control of a person or body of persons by
reason of that person or body of persons having the control and management of
premises declared by Order of the Governor in Council published in the
Government Gazette to be a museum for the purposes of this Act.
