Constitution of the Council

6. Constitution of the Council



(1) The Council consists of-

   (a)  a Lord Mayor; and

   (b)  a Deputy Lord Mayor; and

   (c)  7 Councillors.

(2) The City of Melbourne consists of one unsubdivided ward.

(3) The Lord Mayor and Deputy Lord Mayor are Councillors of the Council.
