30. Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee

The Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee must consider any Bill
introduced into Parliament and must report to the Parliament as to whether the
Bill is incompatible with human rights. Note The Scrutiny of Acts and
Regulations Committee must also review all statutory rules and report to
Parliament if it considers the statutory rule to be incompatible with human
rights: see section 21 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.
