CRIMES (CONTROLLED OPERATIONS) ACT 2004 - SECT 43
Introduction(1) Except as provided by this Division (and despite any other Act or law to the contrary) the functions of a chief officer under this Act may not be delegated to any other person.

(2) For the avoidance of doubt, subsection (1) prevails over section 19 of the Victoria Police Act 2013 .
