Membership and procedure of Council

7. Membership and procedure of Council



(1) The Council consists of not more than 11 members who are to be appointed
by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister.

(2) In recommending persons for appointment as members of the Council, the
Minister must have regard to the need for the members to have between them
experience and knowledge of conservation, tourism, business, recreation,
commerce, issues relating to indigenous peoples, community affairs, town
planning, local government and coastal engineering.
