Requirement for registration-public car parks

28. Requirement for registration-public car parks



(1) The owner of a public car park must apply to the Commissioner in
accordance with this section for registration under this Division.

Penalty: 60 penalty units.

(2) The operator of a public car park must apply to the Commissioner in
accordance with this section for registration under this Division.

Penalty: 60 penalty units.

(3) The application must be made-

   (a)  if the owner or operator was the owner or operator of the car park on
        1 January 2006-by 21 January 2006; or



   (b)  if the owner or operator became the owner or operator of the car park
        after 1 January 2006-within 1 month after becoming the owner or
        operator.

(4) The application must be in the form, and contain the information,
determined by the Commissioner.
