What is extended leave?

56. What is extended leave?



(1) Extended leave is leave for a forensic patient or forensic resident to be
absent from the place of custody-

   (a)  for the period, not exceeding 12 months; and

   (b)  subject to the conditions (if any)-

specified by the court.
