As to name and address of society

36. As to name and address of society



(1) The name of a society shall include the words "co-operative housing
society" as part of the name and the word "limited" as the last word of the
name.

(2) The name of a society shall be inscribed in legible characters on its
seal, and shall be stated in legible characters in all notices,
advertisements, and other official publications of the society, and in all
bills of exchange, cheques, promissory notes, endorsements, orders for money,
receipts, and other documents required in the business of the society.

(3) The name of the society with a statement that the society is registered
under this Act shall be painted or affixed, and kept painted or affixed, on
the outside of its office in a conspicuous place and in letters which are
clearly legible.

(4) The office of the society shall be registered as prescribed, and notice of
any change of address shall be transmitted to the registrar within fourteen
days after the change.
