Membership of Advisory Committees

7. Membership of Advisory Committees



(1) An Advisory Committee consists of 3 or more members appointed by the
Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister.

(2) If an Advisory Committee is to be established to consider matters referred
to in section 6(1)(a)(i) or (iii), the Minister must ensure that the persons
recommended to be members of the Advisory Committee include persons with
expertise in planning, environment or heritage matters, as appropriate.

(3) The Governor in Council must appoint one of the members of an Advisory
Committee to be chairperson of the committee.
