Declaration of test events

3B. Declaration of test events



(1) The Minister, by Order published in the Government Gazette, may declare an
event conducted before the Commonwealth Games are held to be a test event for
the purposes of this Act.

(2) An Order made under subsection (1) may specify that-

   (a)  all the provisions of the Act or only particular provisions of the Act
        as specified in the Order apply to the test event; or

   (b)  all the provisions of the regulations or only particular provisions of
        the regulations as specified in the Order apply to the test event; or

   (c)  a combination of the provisions referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b)
        as specified in the Order apply to the test event.
