Advisory Committee may continue work of existing committee

13. Advisory Committee may continue work of existing committee



(1) If a matter of the kind referred to in section 6(1)(a) was being
considered by a committee established by the Minister before the commencement
of that section, the Minister may refer that matter to an Advisory Committee.

(2) If the Minister refers a matter to an Advisory Committee in accordance
with subsection (1)-

   (a)  the Advisory Committee may continue and complete the work of the other
        committee; and





   (b)  the Advisory Committee may have regard to anything done or any
        information or evidence received or any decision made by the other
        committee in considering the matter; and

   (c)  the other committee must cease to consider the matter.
