Recovery from third parties

63. Recovery from third parties



Where compensation has been paid under this Part and the personal injury,
damage or destruction in respect of which compensation has been paid was
caused under circumstances creating a liability on the part of some person
other than the conservation worker to pay damages, the Secretary may take
proceedings against that person in a court of competent jurisdiction to
recover the amount of the compensation paid under this Act.
