9. Chairman

(2) The chairman shall-

   (a)  preside at all meetings of the Authority;

   (b)  have a casting as well as a deliberative vote; and

   (c)  be entitled to receive such salary and allowances as are determined by
        the Governor in Council.





(3) At any meeting of the Authority at which the chairman or deputy chairman
or, where a member has been appointed to act in the place of the deputy
chairman, the acting deputy chairman is not present a person elected for the
purpose by the members present at the meeting shall act as chairman at the
meeting and may exercise the powers conferred on the chairman by this Act.
