Country Fire Authority Act 1958 - SECT 24
Annual report
24. Annual report
(1) After the annual report of the Authority has been laid before both Houses
of Parliament, the Authority must send a copy of the annual report to each
person or body that has made financial contributions under this Act in respect
of the financial year reported upon.
(2) Unless subsection (2A) applies, the annual report of the Authority must
include-
(a) in respect of each insurance company which has made a statement under
section 77(4), a statement of-
(i) the amount collected by the insurance company as being on account of a
fire service levy however described; and
(ii) the amount paid to the Authority as contributions;
(b) the total of the amounts under paragraph (a)(i);
(c) the total of the amounts under paragraph (a)(ii).
(2A) If the Authority is of the opinion that it would be misleading to include
the information in the annual report required by subsection (2) in relation to
an insurance company, the Authority may instead include a note to the
statement in the annual report explaining why it would be misleading to
include the information in relation to the specified insurance company.
(3) The Authority shall whenever so required by the Minister furnish to the
Minister a special report upon any matter relating to its activities or to the
administration of this Act.
