Proclamation of fire control regions

15. Proclamation of fire control regions



(1) The Governor in Council may from time to time, after consideration of a
report submitted by the Authority, by proclamation published in the Government
Gazette-

   (a)  proclaim parts of the country area of Victoria as fire control regions
        for the purposes of this Act;

   (c)  abolish or in any way vary the area of any such region.



(2) A proclamation under paragraph (a) of subsection (1) shall specify the
ordinal number by which each fire control region shall be known.
