43. Powers on entry

On exercising a power of entry under section 42, a child employment officer
may-

   (a)  inspect any work, material, machinery, appliance, article, facility or
        other thing;

   (b)  take samples of any goods or substances in accordance with the
        regulations;

   (c)  interview any employee;

   (d)  require a person having the custody of, or access to, a document
        relevant to the purpose of investigating an application for a permit
        or determining compliance with this Act or the regulations to produce
        the document to the officer within a reasonable period specified by
        the officer;

   (e)  inspect, and make copies of or take extracts from, a document produced
        to him or her.
