Transitional provision relating to objections

49. Transitional provision relating to objections



(1) If an objection had been made under section 54 of the
Credit (Administration) Act 1984 before the commencement of this section but
had not been disposed of by that date, the objection has effect as an
objection to the registration of the credit provider under section 28 of this
Act.

(2) Anything done by the Authority before the commencement of this section in
relation to an objection referred to in subsection (1) has effect, so far as
applicable, as if done in relation to an objection to the registration of the
credit provider under section 28 of this Act.
