Cancellation of registration on request

27. Cancellation of registration on request



(1) The Registrar may cancel the registration of a registered credit provider
at the request of the credit provider.

(2) If an application has been made to the Tribunal under section 28 to
conduct an inquiry into a credit provider, the credit provider may not,
without leave of the Tribunal, request a cancellation of registration unless
the Tribunal has made an order under section 30(4) or has determined not to
make such an order.
