Suspension of licence

53. Suspension of licence



(1) The Commission may suspend the licence of a licensee by notice in writing
given to the licensee if the Commission is satisfied that the licensee has
been charged with, found guilty of or convicted of-





   (a)  an offence against this Act, the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 or an
        offence against regulations made under either of these Acts; or





   (b)  an offence arising out of or in connection with the employment of the
        licensee under any of those Acts; or

   (c)  whether or not in Victoria, an offence involving fraud or dishonesty
        punishable on conviction by imprisonment for 3 months or more (whether
        or not in addition to a fine).

(2) A function of the Commission under this section may be performed by any
commissioner.
