45A. Person licensed under Gambling Regulation Act 2003









(1) A person who holds a gaming industry employee's licence issued under the
Gambling Regulation Act 2003 may apply to the Commission under this section
for a licence under this Part.

(2) An application under subsection (1) must be accompanied by-

   (a)  the prescribed fee; and

   (b)  evidence that the applicant is or was employed by a venue operator,
        gaming operator or bingo centre operator to perform the functions of a
        gaming industry employee within the meaning of Chapter 9A of the
        Gambling Regulation Act 2003.

(3) The Commission, if satisfied that the authority given to the applicant by
a gaming industry employee's licence issued under the
Gambling Regulation Act 2003 is comparable to the authority conferred by a
licence under this Part, may issue such a licence to the applicant.

(4) A function of the Commission under this section may be performed by any
commissioner.
