Casino supervision and control charge

112A. Casino supervision and control charge





(1) The casino operator must pay to the Commission for payment into the
Consolidated Fund-

   (a)  on the grant of a casino licence, the premium payment determined by
        the Treasurer under subsection (3); and

   (b)  the prescribed casino supervision and control charge in respect of the
        prescribed periods in each year not later than the prescribed date for
        each such period.

(3) The Treasurer, after consultation with the Minister, must determine an
amount as the premium payment payable under subsection (1)(a).

(4) The amount determined by the Treasurer under subsection (3) must be
specified in the agreement referred to in section 15(1).

(5) If a casino licence is cancelled or surrendered, the Treasurer may refund
the whole or part of the premium payment referred to in subsection (1)(a) and
the Consolidated Fund is hereby to the necessary extent appropriated
accordingly.

(6) The premium payment payable under subsection (1)(a) and the casino
supervision and control charge prescribed for the purposes of subsection
(1)(b) are taxes.
