County Court Act 1958 - SECT 48B
Opinion of legal practitioner
48B. Opinion of legal practitioner
(1) The court may require or receive the opinion of a legal practitioner for
its assistance-
(a) in the investigation of the title to any land with a view to an
investment of money in the purchase or on mortgage of that land or
with a view to a sale of that land; or
(b) in settling the draft of an instrument; or
(c) in such other cases as are directed by the Rules-
but any party may object to the opinion and, if so, the question in dispute
must be disposed of by the court.
