Power to exercise functions of judge or associate judge by another

15. Power to exercise functions of judge or associate judge by another

Despite anything in any Act, any power, duty or act which might have been
exercised or performed by any judge or associate judge but for-

   (a)  his or her having ceased for any reason to be a judge or associate
        judge; or

   (b)  his or her absence on leave or vacation or in consequence of sickness
        or otherwise-

shall be exercisable or performable by any other judge or associate judge (as
the case requires).
