Offence to disobey notice

41. Offence to disobey notice



(1) A land owner of land to which a land management notice applies-

   (a)  who has been served with the notice; or

   (b)  to whom particulars of the notice have been given in a statement under
        section 32 of the Sale of Land Act 1962; or

   (c)  who, at the time of becoming owner of the land, was aware or ought
        reasonably to have been aware of the notice-

must comply with the notice. Penalty: 240 penalty units.

(2) Subsection (1) does not make the Crown, a Minister or the Secretary liable
for an offence.
