39. Requirements before service of a notice

(3) Before serving a land management notice the Secretary must get the consent
of the Authority of the region in which the notice will apply.



(4) The Secretary does not have to get consent under subsection (3) if the
land management notice only deals with the control of noxious weeds or pest
animals or both.
