Immunity of members

19. Immunity of members



(1) A member of the Council or any member of the board of an Authority is not
personally liable for anything done or omitted to be done in good faith-

   (a)  in the performance of a function under this Act or the regulations; or

   (b)  in the reasonable belief that the act or omission was in the
        performance of a function under this Act or the regulations.

(2) Any liability that would, but for subsection (1), attach to a member of
the board of an Authority attaches instead to the Authority of which the
person is a member of the board.
