Function of boards

16. Function of boards



(1) The board of an Authority-

   (a)  is responsible for-

   (i)  the strategic planning of the Authority; and

   (ii) deciding the policies of the Authority; and

   (iii) the management of the affairs of the Authority, including ensuring
        the performance of the functions and the carrying out of the duties of
        the Authority; and

   (b)  may exercise the powers of the Authority.

(2) Each board of an Authority, in performing its functions, exercising its
powers and carrying out its duties must act in a proper and efficient manner.
