6. Ratification and implementation of Agreement



(1) The Agreement is ratified and takes effect as if it had been enacted in
this Act.

(2) The Minister administering this Act, the Treasurer and the Commission are
authorised and required to do all things necessary to implement and give full
effect to the Agreement and the other Transaction Documents within the meaning
of the Agreement.

(3) A reference in clause 24.1 of the Agreement to the Gaming Machine Control
Act 1991, the Lotteries Gaming and Betting Act 1966, the Tattersall
Consultations Act 1958 or the Club Keno Act 1993 must, so far as it relates to
any period on or after the commencement of section 12.2.1 of the
Gambling Regulation Act 2003, be construed as a reference to the
Gambling Regulation Act 2003.
