Authority of arbitrator or umpire

50. Authority of arbitrator or umpire

Subject to this Act, the authority of an arbitrator or umpire is, unless a
contrary intention is expressed in the arbitration agreement or the parties to
the agreement otherwise agree in writing, irrevocable.
