CONFISCATION ACT 1997 - SECT 97C
Record of proceedings for search and inspection warrant(1) A magistrate who issues a search and inspection warrant must cause a record to be made of all relevant particulars of the grounds he or she has relied on to justify the issue of the warrant.
(2) The magistrate may decline to record any matter that might disclose the identity of a person if the magistrate believes on reasonable grounds that to do so might jeopardise the safety of any person.
