Meaning of dealing with property

11. Meaning of dealing with property

For the purposes of this Act, dealing with property of a person includes-

   (a)  if a debt is owed to that person, making a payment to any person in
        reduction of the amount of the debt; and

   (b)  removing the property from Victoria; and

   (c)  receiving or making a gift of the property; and

   (d)  creating or assigning an interest in the property; and



   (e)  using the property to obtain or extend credit; and

   (f)  using credit secured against the property.

Note Property is defined as including any interest in property: see section
3(1).
