Secrecy
36. Secrecy
(1) A person who is or has been an official visitor must not, except to the
extent necessary to perform official duties, disclose or make use of
information gained by the person as an official visitor.
Penalty: 5 penalty units.
(2) Subsection (1) does not prevent a person from-
(a) producing a document or giving evidence to a court, where the document
or evidence includes information mentioned in subsection (1), in the
course of criminal proceedings under this Act; or
(b) disclosing information mentioned in subsection (1) to a person
nominated by the Minister.
