Authorized persons may act as prison officers

15. Authorized persons may act as prison officers



(1) The Secretary may by instrument authorize a member of the police force or
a class of members of the police force to exercise in accordance with the
regulations all or any of the powers of a prison officer.

(2) An authority may be given subject to such conditions and limitations as
are stated in the authority.
