PART 1 PRELIMINARY

Purposes

1. Purposes



The purposes of this Act are-

   (a)  to provide for the establishment management and security of prisons
        and the welfare of prisoners; and

   (b)  to provide for the administration of services related to
        community-based corrections and for the welfare of offenders; and

   (c)  to provide for other correctional services.
