The Institute to be a body corporate

65. The Institute to be a body corporate



(1) The Institute-

   (a)  is a body corporate with perpetual succession; and

   (b)  has a seal; and

   (c)  may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property; and

   (d)  may sue and be sued in its own name; and

   (e)  may seek and accept funds from the University of Melbourne, Monash
        University or any other person for the purposes of carrying out the
        objects of the Institute.

(2) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially are to take judicial
notice of the seal of the Institute.
