Record of evidence

57. Record of evidence



(1) Evidence must be recorded in accordance with section 131 of the
Evidence Act 1958.

(2) If the evidence is recorded in writing, the record must be read to and
signed by the witness.

(3) Except as provided in section 55AB of the Evidence Act 1958, a record is
not evidence in any court of any fact asserted in it.
