State Coroner may investigate a reviewable death

30D. State Coroner may investigate a reviewable death



(1) The State Coroner may investigate a reviewable death without referring the
death to the Institute if he or she considers that it is necessary and
appropriate to do so.

(2) Subsection (1) does not affect the power of the State Coroner to refer a
reviewable death to the Institute under section 30B.
