Control of body

24. Control of body

If a reportable or reviewable death occurs and the body is in Victoria, the
body is under the control of the coroner investigating the death, subject to
any directions the State Coroner may give to a coroner, until the coroner has
issued a certificate, in the prescribed form, permitting burial, cremation,
disposal at sea or other disposal.
