23. Certificate of burial etc.



(1) A coroner investigating a death must issue as soon as reasonably possible
a certificate in the prescribed form permitting burial, cremation, disposal at
sea or other disposal.

(2) A certificate under subsection (1) must not be issued until an application
made under section 18 is disposed of or the time for making such an
application has expired.

(3) If the Supreme Court makes an order under section 18 a coroner, other than
the State Coroner, must not issue a certificate under subsection (1).
