Variations generally
73. Variations generally
Where the terms of a regulated contract are varied or a regulated contract is
discharged in consideration of the debtor entering into another credit
contract, whether in a manner referred to in section 37, 69, 70, 71 or 74 or
in accordance with a provision in the contract or by agreement between the
credit provider and the debtor, the contract as varied shall be deemed to
continue to be, or the other contract shall be deemed to be, a regulated
contract notwithstanding that, but for this section it would not continue to
be, or be, a regulated contract.
