63. Statement of account to be given before proceedings instituted

A credit provider shall not institute proceedings for the recovery of an
amount owed to him under a continuing credit contract unless, when giving the
required notice under section 107, he gives the debtor a statement of account
under section 61 that includes a request for payment of that amount. Penalty:
10 penalty units.
