8. Powers of Deputy and Assistant Commissioner



(1) Each Deputy or Assistant Commissioner shall, subject to the general
direction and control of, and to such restrictions and limitations as may be
imposed by, the Commissioner, have full power and authority for and on behalf
of the Commissioner to execute any document and to perform and discharge any
other act, deed or duty on behalf of the Commissioner.



(2) A document executed under subsection (1) and any act, deed or duty done,
performed or discharged under that section shall be as valid and effectual as
if done, performed or discharged by the Commissioner.
