Transitional

12. Transitional



(1) The Commissioner under this Act is the successor in law of the
Commissioner for Corporate Affairs under the Companies Act 1961 as in force
immediately before the commencement of this Act.

(2) Any proceedings instituted by or against the
Commissioner for Corporate Affairs or a Deputy
Commissioner for Corporate Affairs under the Companies Act 1961 (whether as
Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner or personally or both) before the
commencement of this section may be continued and concluded after that
commencement in all respects as if the proceedings were instituted by or
against the Commissioner within the meaning of this Act after that
commencement.
