65E. Provisions applying if dispute not resolved



(1) This section applies in the case of a Deadlocked Bill.

(2) The Premier may advise the Governor in writing that the Assembly be
dissolved as a result of this section applying to the Deadlocked Bill
specified in the advice.

(3) There is to be attached to the advice under subsection (2) a copy of the
Deadlocked Bill endorsed with the certificate of the Speaker signed by the
Speaker that the Bill is a Bill to which section 65E of the Constitution Act
1975 applies.

(4) The certificate of the Speaker under this section is conclusive evidence
for all purposes and cannot be questioned in any court.

(5) If the Premier does not give advice under subsection (2), the Deadlocked
Bill may be re-introduced in the Assembly in accordance with section 65F.
