Dispute Resolution

65C. Dispute Resolution



(1) The Dispute Resolution Committee must seek to reach a Dispute Resolution
on a Disputed Bill within 30 days after the Disputed Bill is referred to the
Dispute Resolution Committee by a resolution of the Assembly.

(2) If the Dispute Resolution Committee reaches a Dispute Resolution, a copy
of the Dispute Resolution must be tabled in the Assembly and the Council on
the first sitting day of that House after the Dispute Resolution has been
reached.

(3) If the Dispute Resolution Committee-

   (a)  cannot reach a Dispute Resolution; or

   (b)  cannot meet or fails to meet for any reason-

the Disputed Bill becomes a Deadlocked Bill.
