Appropriation Bills

62. Appropriation Bills



(1) A Bill for appropriating any part of the Consolidated Fund or for imposing
any duty, rate, tax, rent, return or impost must originate in the Assembly.



(2) Subject to section 65, a Bill for appropriating any part of the
Consolidated Fund or for imposing any duty, rate, tax, rent, return or impost
may be rejected but not altered by the Council.
