Quorum of Legislative Council

32. Quorum of Legislative Council





(1) The Council shall not proceed to the despatch of business unless there be
present inclusive of the President one-third at least of the members.

(2) Subject to subsection (2A) and section 18, all questions arising in the
Council shall be determined by a majority of the members present including the
President.

(2A) The President has a deliberative vote but not a casting vote.



(3) The Chairman of Committees shall be the Deputy President of the Council.
